Dunbrek joined the Broken Tusks a few months ago. It was easily recognizable that something had happened to him. His beard was very short and looked like it had been forcefully cut off. He was not carrying a clan dagger anymore. (He has been kicked out of his clan. He sabotaged a mining operation to save some animals but was caught. Maybe he can redeem himself in the future or he will stay clanless.)

Being a refugee in this harsh environment, Dunbrek is grateful that the Broken Tusks took him in. Having a bear companion, joining Moose House was the obvious choice. Dunbrek has been rather quiet about his past and has not shared with anyone what had happened.

In some regards, Dunbrek is a typical dwarf, sometimes silent, sometimes grumpy. So, making new friends was not easy for him. Still, he has befriended a few animal herders. Being grateful, he feels very much obliged to help the tribe in any way he can. Having the dwarven trait of not shying away from hard work, even though he is not a very social person, he at least managed to earn some respect in the tribe.

His bear „Grumpy“ is known to be foul-tempered and best left alone (if a dwarf calls his bear „Grumpy“, that’s saying something).
